The safety culture on site is underpinned by well proven procedures, which have enabled the Istanbul Shipyard to develop a good safety record. Quality is being audited by Lloyd Register annually to maintain the ISO 9001:2000 certificate. We also delight in getting those to our customers from the onset to post sail away. We have the management experience in-house design, and facilities to enable us to perform a wide variety of ship repair projects from emergency dockings through to conversion works.
Istanbul Shipyard is based in one of the strategic location in Europe. The yard facility consists of 1 floating dock, excessive quay accommodations, fabrication, fitting, pipe production and joinery shops. Vessels are able to come alongside for tank cleaning and afloat repairs. The yard has excellent logistics with two International airports within an hour drive. The region is known for its marine related activity and therefore shipyard has an excellent sub contractor based support to all ship-owners requirements worldwide.
Among our customer base we boast a number of Oil Majors and their key contractors as well as the Turkish Ministry of Defense and well known worldwide shipping groups. Most of our customers are returning customers who have well satisfaction from the services and the customer relation they have got from Istanbul Shipyard.
